Books For Early
Primary Readers
Here are some quality books for children
right on the cusp of reading. They may recognize quite a few words and be able
to decode them. But read these to your child instead of making them struggle to
read them for themselves. They really enjoy listening to a great story unfold,
and they really enjoy looking at great illustrations as they listen.
These would make great library
check-outs for summer reading, or wonderful birthday or holiday gifts for an
older preschooler through about Grade 2:
Amazing Grace,
