
Milk Jug Igloo
The dog days of summer are coming.
You KNOW you're going to be hot!
Well, use your imagination to stay
cool . . . and make a one-of-a-kind play fort for indoors or outside.
Transport yourself, at least
mentally, to the Arctic Circle, with a hot-glue gun and as many washed-out
empty gallon milk jugs as you can scrounge from family, neighbors and friends.
It might take you a while to collect enough, but it'll be worth it. Won't it?
All you have to do to prepare is to
cut off the top one-third or so of each jug, so that the spout is off. You'll
make the igloo "bottoms out," with the bottom of each milk jug facing out. Use
hot-glue to secure them to each other.
