Go Fly a Kite

            Awwww, go fly a kite!

Of course, we mean that in a nice way. April is National Kite Month, sponsored by the kite industry and related associations. Here's a site with all kinds of information about kites, including lots of links that can show you how to build your own kite.

There also are safety tips for those who are new to kite-flying as a hobby and sport, as well as special events that may be in your area, a place to register your own kite event, and lots of history about kite flying.

You may know about how Benjamin Franklin changed history by flying a kite . . . but did you know there are several other people whose kite-flying made big news in the past?

Visit http://nationalkitemonth.org and let your imagination soar!
